Thunderbird not opening large messages

mail.server.default.fetch_by_chunks = falseto work around a size bug
Tried it, didn’t help Tbird open large messages over IMAP to an Exchange 2010 server. I also set mail.server.default.max_message_size = 5000 from 50 at the same time. Still looking for answers ….
